CIPS Breakfast Roundtable

24 November 2020

Oliver Wight’s Partner, Dawn Dent will be holding a roundtable discussion on 24th November hosted by Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply on Integrated scenario planning across the end-to-end supply chain.

You have a plan. That’s great! And all functions are aligned on the plan. Even better! But how ready are you if things don’t quite turn out as planned? There are business drivers you can control and others that you can influence. Some have causes outside of your control such as political events (e.g. Brexit), economic events (e.g. a global recession), market events (e.g. actions taken by your competitors), or even a pandemic. How do you improve the readiness of your end-to-end supply chain for different scenarios? Earlier this year 248 people from businesses around the world responded to the Oliver Wight survey with 35% reporting a lack of ability to run scenarios and simulations.
