BAT Poland
From 'the writing on the wall' to Class A certification
In 2003, BAT Poland was an underperforming operations company within the global BAT corporation. It was slow at introducing new products, had inefficiencies within its processes and supply chain and problems with satisfying demand - which was falling.
Less than two years later, BAT Poland was presented with its Class A certification for all five chapters in Oliver Wight's Fifth Edition. It has boosted productivity by 20 per cent, become an international supplier of high quality products, and is now a recognised centre of excellence.
